Artwork. A seventy Japanese inks on Echizen paper called Ranx- Trois paysages
In October 2019 I was invited by Imadate Art Field, an art center, to conduct research on Washi in addition to the Ran7.4 installation at Maison Nishino. I begin research with the different papers offered to me. I grind them, observe their materials, their fiber networks, their transparencies, the grains etc…
I work with ink, oil, folding, tearing.
Once back in France I collect the essays and assemble certain paths taken together.
Afterwards I determined three categories of research formatting: Time objects (VR8-oT), Landscapes of Echizen (VR8-Ep) and the transitional series (VR8 – +43ʼʼ.8h16ʼ2ʼʼ.587m).
The Time objects are presented here. Discriminating them from the rest of the research they sʼapparaient to time images as a cinema film can render them.
Some stagings are based on this principle, others less so. But all have something of the lʼordre de lʼécoulement.
As with the rest of the work, the « frames » are made and designed with salvaged materials that have had a previous life.

Jʼentame des recherches avec les différents papiers qui me sont proposés. Je les triture, observe leurs matières, leurs réseaux de fibres, leurs transparences, le grains etc…
Je travaille à lʼencre, à lʼhuile, au pliage, à la déchirure.

Après coup jʼai déterminé trois catégories de mise en forme des recherches : Les objets Temps (VR8-oT), les Paysages dʼEchizen (VR8-Ep) et la série transitionnelle (VR8 – +43ʼʼ.8h16ʼ2ʼʼ.587m).Ici sont présentés les objets Temps. En les discriminant du reste des recherches ils sʼapparentaient aux images temps comme une pellicule de cinéma peut en rendre compte.
Certaines mises en forment sʼappuient sur ce principe, dʼautres moins. Mais toutes ont quelque chose de lʼordre de lʼécoulement.Comme pour le reste du travail les « encadrements » sont réalisés et pensés avec des matériaux de récupération, qui ont eu une vie antérieure.
