Monotype on plasterboard. Directly from Ran7’s series N°37. The weave of the paper is particularly visible on this monotype. Various types of paper, pigment and linseed oil, monotype detached from the background.
Fabriano paper, pigment and oil. There is no frame on this piece. Wood from a pallet, cleaned, sanded and nourished with linseed oil.
What if the sculptural approach was the right way to go? Erect the piece, erase the frame, give it a pedestal…. .
The monotype was made between 2018 and 2019. The object was made in November 2019.

Monotype sur plaque de plâtre. Directement issue da la série N°37 de Ran7. La trame du papier est particulièrement visible sur ce monotype. Divers types de papiers , pigment et huile de lin, monotype décollé du fond.
Papier Fabriano , pigment et huile. Il nʼy a pas de cadre sur cette pièce. Bois issus dʼune palette, nettoyé, poncé et nourri à lʼhuile de lin.
Et si lʼapproche sculpturale était une bonne voie? Dresser la pièce, effacer le cadre, lui offrir un socle…. .
Le monotype a été réalisé entre 2018 et 2019. Lʼobjet fut réalisé en Novembre 2019.
